Sk8 Backyard

Skaters of the 70’s were outlaws. This homemade ramp at San Souci was built from thrown away materials found on rubbish piles. It was the first backyard setup I had ever seen and pre- half pipe, it even had a bowl section. It was pretty sketchy to ride but kept the local skaters amped. Photo taken around ’78.
