Tamam Shud

Tamam Shud were a band from Avalon way on the Northern Beaches of Sydney who had a huge Surf following in the early 70’s after they appeared on the soundtrack to several surf movies like Evolution and Morning of The Earth. I remember seeing them play live with Wild Cherry with Lobby Lloyd on guitar in ’71. Half  the audience were Surfers the other half were Sharpies there to see Lobby. Short haired Sharpies  hated the long haired Surfers. All the Surfers were  lucky to get out  of there in one piece as the Sharpies were Australia’s answer to Skinheads. This album featured Lady Sunshine from the Evolution sountrack.
