Daff from the Northern Beaches was one of my favourite 80’s surfers, his cutbacks were so smooth and textbook style. I remember he even had the dubious honour of being cracked over the head with a bottle by Hawaiian madman Tim Fretz at Bells one year. This shot taken at South Avalon.
