Steve Aussie McIver

Aussie grew up in Australia then moved to Hawaii before eventually returning to Bondi. He was super competitive on the local pro am circuit in the 80’s. Became infamous for his board spearing incident during a heat that saw him banned from competing for a while. Aussie rode for Bondi’s In The Nude club when this shot was taken mid 80’s.
