Outer Island A-Frames
The Hawaiian locals hate people coming uninvited and exposing their spots and its not hard to understand why. This particular Outer Island is my favourite surf trip destination, so laid back and casual, kind of like what you expect the real Hawaii to really be like and not Waikiki. Cant remember the name of this spot or what side of the Island it was on but it was firing this day. There were A Frame peaks up and down the beach everywhere but a horrendous rip that meant you had to do a lot of running and paddling. As we packed up the two grommet Irons brothers turned up. Shot taken at sunrise around ’97.
