Early morning shots like this seq. taken at Cronulla Point were so common in the 70s thanks to the East Coasts many epic point lineups that offered down the line carving potential. Legendary breaks like Burleigh Heads, Angourie, Noosa, Crescent Head, Bells, Lennox and Kirra were the types of waves that surfers hungered for.
