Voodoo
It was Jacko and his Bondi mates who named Voodoo in the 60s and if you have ever visited this notoriously heavy reef wave you will understand why. For many years Voodoo didn’t attract the crowds and it was not uncommon to find it going off with no one out. These shots where taken on such days in the 70s and 80’s when it still held its semi secret spot status and only a handful of surfers were out. With an open ocean sewage outlet situated nearby back then only the most committed would surf it and it was most likely responsible in keeping the hordes away. The walk in
