Cherry Venture

If you wanted a home-grown surf adventure in the seventies you couldn’t go past a trip to Double Island Point just past Noosa. After miles and miles of beach driving your confronted with the shipwreck the Cherry Venture beached and stuck solid in a wild storm.  This shot shows the freighter still in pretty good shape, now its just a rusted hulk.
