Before Bali was discovered as a wave paradise Noosa was the ultimate wave playground to hit for Aussie surfers to get away from the crowds and the city. In the 70’s when this shot was taken at Tea Tree at first light, life was so much simpler, all you cared about was your Dole cheque , getting tubed, sun, mull and sex.
