Col Smith

Narrabeens Col Smith along with Wayne Lynch invented backside vertical surfing. Col from Narrabeen was all over the mags in the early 70’s as he blasted lips in a way that had never been done before. His frontside was as equally mind blowing. This shot was taken at the Coke comp  in the late 80’s during the beginning of the longboard resurgence.
