Nat was my first surfing idol until MP came along in the 70’s. This shot was taken after he returned to proffesional surfing after a few years spent up the north coast doing the back to nature Hippy thing. Eventually ” The Animal” went on to win the World Long Boarding title with his classic old school mal riding style.
