The Whomp

The Whomp was the original name that we called Suckrock.On a solid swell standing on the rocks near shore you could feel the ground shake as the wave explodes as it broke onto the reef. The hollow tubes would make a whomping noise as the air compressed was shot out. Just as intense today as it ever was.
