Noosa Heads – Tea Tree Bay
This pic was taken at Tea Tree Bay early in the morning . Noosa back then in the mid 70’s was just prior to to getting fully commercialised. Hippies still ran the town. The writing was on the wall though as every vacant block of land was being bought up by developers. When this shot was taken there was still no houses on the foreshore as you approached the National Park at Johnsons and First Point. This swell lasted about a week, everyday it was the same. Catch a wave to the beach, get out and run back to the jump off rock and do it again. No crowd just down the line walls.Wave after wave went unridden, it was heaven.
