Country Soul

Heading up the coast in search of uncrowded waves became a right of passage for seventy surfers. Photos of lines wrapping around unmolested headlands created regular migrations of cars full of boards and bodies. Surf trips were more about the adventure back then. It didn’t matter whether you got quality waves it was the fun in getting there and hanging with mates that mattered most. Rain , hail or shine you’d surf and girlfriends were barred. This wave is somewhere not too far from  Crescent Head.
